Responsible for the training and equitable treatment of all poker room personnel and in the
absence of the GM, responsible company day to day operations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
•Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company policies.
•Inspires others by leading by example and being a positive role model.
•Responsibilities include training employees; directing work; appraising
performance; rewarding and disciplining; addressing concerns of subordinates;
and resolving problems within the department.
•Positive energy and enthusiasm focusing on customer and employees alike.
•Maintains a safe and clean working environment.
•Implements and ensures compliance with approved policies, procedures, and
direct personnel in accordance with company policies and objectives.
•Responsible for the training and equitable treatment of all poker room personnel.
•Promote outstanding guest relations.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
Thorough knowledge of all poker games and operations.
Two years’ experience as a poker dealer in a casino environment.
One year supervisory experience in poker room operations.
PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the property
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned desk area.
Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including a 10
key adding machine, PC computers, fax machine, and photocopier.
Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand basic English.
Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
